The Lodz Solar Team is a group of passionate students of the Lodz University of Technology operating under the Institute of Turbomachinery at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
These young and enthusiastic people share one goal - building solar-powered electric cars and a desire to develop eco-technology in Poland.
We are glad that we could become part of this dream and design seats for their new Eagle Two vehicle.
Lodz Solar Team won the international solar-powered electric vehicle race iLumen European Solar Challenge. The competition took place on September 21-23 at the Formula 1 track - Circuit Zolder in Belgium. Despite constant rainfall and slippery surface, Polish car proved to be reliable and definitely ahead of the competition in the general classification. The team raced with over 20 teams from around the world.
