On May 6, Flixtrain services started in Sweden, and it looked like this:

These are the first trips of this carrier outside Germany. The trains are equipped with seats designed and manufactured by TAPS for the German company Talbot Services, which deals with comprehensive modernization of these vehicles.

Thanks to the use of composite technology, Flix seats are characterized by a light structure, although they are fully equipped. They are dedicated to non-compartment wagons in regional and agglomeration traffic.

Flixtrain trains run between Stockholm and Gothenburg, and the journey is twice as fast as with Flixbus.

TAPS is currently working on the improvement of this type of seat, incl. by reducing their weight thanks to the use of innovative design solutions and innovative materials.
